Dr. Anne Bowness

Dr. Anne Bowness graduated in 1992 from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago where she studied chiropractic and acupuncture. She practiced for 2 years in Chicago before returning to her hometown of North Bay, where she owned and operated Body Back in Motion for 8 years. After making the big move south, Dr. Bowness joined King West Chiropractic and built a tremendous practice in the heart of downtown Toronto.  

To build her clinic Structure Spine and Sport, Dr. Bowness’ has blended her unique background training, combining: the exercise component of her phys. Ed
. Degree (from Queen’s  
University), her experience as a ranked sprint kayaker and coach, nutrition education, and her extensive training in
Orthopedics, and Sports Injury Rehabilitation into a state of the art facility on King Street West in North Bay. Dr. Bowness is as comfortable working with complicated athletic injuries as she is with simple headaches and taping ankles.
Her pledge to you is that “if your condition is something that she cannot help you with, she will help you find someone who can”… Challenge her… as she always says: “I like to use my brain”.
LYNNE EMOND- Office Manager
Lynne worked in the automotive industry for 18 years before shifting gears in 2009 to persue her passion of Hollistic Health. She studied Fitness and Nutrition and also received her "Nursing Unit Clerk" certificate in January 2014. Lynne joined the Structure Spine and Sport team in May 2014 to manage the front office. When Lynne is not in the clinic, you will find her volunteering in the community. She is cheerfully looking forward to booking your next appointment and answering your questions you may have regarding supplements. 

NATALIE DEMARCO - Exercise Therapist 


Natalie graduated from the University of Guelph with an honours degree in Human Kinetics in 2011. 
With her love of movement and exercise she became a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and Hatha Yoga instructor. In 2013 she traveled to Thailand where she studied Thai Yoga Massage and began practicing upon her return to North Bay. Natalie started working at the clinic in 2014. At the end of 2015 she decided to explore a little more of what the world had to offer. After 2.5 years of international exploration she returned to North Bay and came back to join the Structure Spine and Sport team once more. Natalie loves practicing and teaching yoga, cycling and of course travelling.  If you're looking for a good chat about world travel feel free to strike up a conversation with her at the clinic on your visit. 



ALEX THOMAS- Exercise Therapist

Alex graduated from Nipissing University’s Bachelor of Physical Health and Education program in 2017 and started working at our clinic shortly after. He has an extensive background working with children and testing the physical literacy of school aged children around North Bay. He will be returning to Nipissing in September of 2018 to start his degree in education with his teachable in PhysEd. In his spare time Alex enjoys hiking on all of the different trails around North Bay and swimming in the summer. He is very excited to expand his knowledge on injury rehabilitation and prevention while working at our clinic.


VICTORIA WILLARS- Exercise Therapist

Victoria, a North Bay local, is a 2018 graduate of Nipissing University's Bachelor of Physical and Health Education. During her four years, she was an integral part of the Women's Volleyball Team. She was the student athletic-therapy trainer for the Nipissing University Varsity Cross Country Running Team. During the 2017 season, she received Student Trainer of the Year in recognition of her commitment to the Cross Country Running Athletes and their success. Victoria will continue to expand her experience as a student athletic-therapy trainer a she joins the Nipissing Univeristy Women's Varsity Soccer Team for their 2018 season. In addition, Victoria will be returning to Nipissing University  this year as she will begin a Master's in Kinesiology. With Victoria's growing experience with sport injuries, we know she is an excellent fit for out team. 



Dawn has been a registered massage therapist for over 13 years.  Since graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2001 she has worked in a viriety of clinic settings in North Bay and Sudbury.  Dawns extensive experience in repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries and pain management as well as her skills at deep tissue and deep pressure techniques make her a valuable part of the Structure Spine and Sport team.  She also prides herself on being able to vary her pressure and techniques to customize the treatment requirements.  When not at work, you can find her on the regions waterways and trail systems enjoying her passion of the outdoors. 


Keith Kerr - RMT

Keith is a graduate of the Massage therapy program at Georgian College and is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontarion (CMTO). He has been trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, trigger point therapy, pre and post natal massage, and muscle stripping. He has had many clinical hours in sports injury clinics, palliative care, and post natal care.  He left his New Liskeard practice in 2016 to join our team. Keith prides himself on taking an evidence based approach towards client care and treatment plans. In his spare time you will find him canoe tripping and pacticing Jui-Jitsu .If you're looking for the massage therapist that can give you the added deep tissue pressure you need, you've found your man.
